Hello Goodbye Mittens Workshop

Why not celebrate Valentine's Day with heart themed mittens.  Join us for this two part class where we will work through the techniques to make the Hello Goodbye Mittens for Ladies.  This pattern is featured in the Saltwater Classics book by Christine Legrow & Shirley A. Scott, 2019.  

The mittens feature double hearts on both the top and palm of the mitten, as well as the distinctive Salt & Pepper pattern that is a mainstay in Newfoundland knitting.  This famous pattern is very warm, versatile, and gives Newfoundland mittens their character.  

In the full workshop, you will choose between two colours of Briggs & Little Regal Yarn.  You will be using the Addi Flexiflip knitting needles, size 4.00mm.  The workshop is presented in two parts.  You will receive a paper copy of the pattern, and helpful instructions regarding the specific techniques that present themselves in this pattern.  

Part 1: Thursday February 12th at 10am

Part 2: Thursday February 19th at 10am

You may also participate in the workshop without the needles & yarn provided, but bring your own.  A paper pattern will be provided.
